The Rose Garden in Valbyparken

Open-air wedding ceremony between the rose beds.

Roses are a symbol of love and passion – and so what could be more romantic than saying ‘I do’ to the love of your life surrounded by beautiful, sweet-smelling roses?

The Rose Garden in Valbyparken (Valby Park) is one of Europe’s largest rose gardens. In the impressive, circular garden, covering more than 1.5 hectares (more than two football fields), you can enjoy the view of over 12,000 roses from 176 different species.

Valbyparken is Copenhagen’s largest park and offers many different themed gardens, wild nature and open lawns, where you can celebrate with your near and dear ones after your ceremony.

In case of rain
If the forecast predicts only a few drops or brief showers, the ceremony will take place with the lovely sound of raindrops on umbrellas as a backdrop.
In case the weather does not look suitable for an open-air wedding at all, your ceremony will be moved to one of the beautiful rooms at Copenhagen City Hall.
