At Østre Gasværk Theatre, the spectacular and high-ceilinged auditorium can set the stage for your wedding ceremony.

Here, you can say ‘I do’ in the enormous auditorium, which housed a giant gas tank until 1969.

Østre Gasværk was finished in 1897 and designed by Martin Nyrop, who also designed Copenhagen City Hall.

How to book a wedding appointment

To book an appointment, you must first apply for a certificate of marital status. When your application has been approved, you will receive a link to the booking system. Here, you can choose between the available times at the open-air weddings yourself.

Shortly after you have booked your appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation with further details about the day.
