Christmas in Tivoli Gardens

Fairy tale open-air Christmas wedding ceremony

Shimmering lights, the sound of laughter and happy squeals from the amusement rides, the lovely smell of mulled wine - and plenty of romance. The old garden is oozing ‘hygge’ and Christmas spirit and now, it can also serve as the setting of your winter wedding in the heart of Copenhagen.

The ceremony will take place outside, in the small pavilion with a golden roof located next to the lake.

 

After the ceremony, it is entirely up to you what the day should bring and how you want to celebrate – maybe a concert in the Tivoli Concert Hall? A ride on the roller coaster? Or a quiet and romantic dinner?

You will be offered four tickets: Two for you, and two more if you bring guests. Additional guests must pay the museum admission fee.

In case of rain or snow

If the forecast predicts that the weather does not look suitable for an open-air wedding, the ceremony will be moved to the Hans Christian Andersen Castle foyer or the Aquarium foyer below the Concert Hall.  

How to book a wedding appointment

To book an appointment, you must first apply for a certificate of marital status. When your application has been approved, you will receive a link to the booking system. Here, you can choose between the available times at the open-air weddings yourself.

Shortly after you have booked your appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation with further details about the day.
