Do you dream of a wedding ceremony in historic and pleasant surroundings in Copenhagen?

Admiral Gjeddes Gaard is one of Copenhagen’s beautiful old buildings, oozing charm and history from its yellow timber frame walls and barred windows. 

Here, you can be married outside in an intimate and memorable ceremony in the building’s lovely courtyard, just a stone’s throw from the Church of our Lady in the centre of Copenhagen.

In case of rain

If the forecast predicts only a few drops or brief showers, the ceremony will take place with the lovely sound of raindrops on umbrellas as a backdrop.

In case the weather does not look suitable for an open-air wedding at all, your ceremony will be moved to one of the beautiful rooms at Copenhagen City Hall.

How to book a wedding appointment

To book an appointment, you must first apply for a certificate of marital status. When your application has been approved, you will receive a link to the booking system. Here, you can choose between the available times at the open-air weddings yourself.

Shortly after you have booked your appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation with further details about the day.
