Wedding in the colours of the rainbow

Open-air wedding ceremony during World Pride in Copenhagen in 2021

While the city is partying during World Pride, you can be married at a beautiful and memorable afternoon ceremony on the beautiful bridge in the park Ørstedsparken – right in the middle of the city centre.

What the evening will bring next is entirely up to you. Maybe you want to participate in the city-wide Pride celebration, or maybe have dinner with family and friends in one of the city’s many nice restaurants? No matter how you choose to celebrate your special day, you can be sure that the city will be buzzing with a festive atmosphere.

Friday, 20 August 2021 between 15:00 and 18:00.

Please note

An open-air wedding ceremony in Ørstedsparken during World Pride costs 950 DKK.

We have introduced special guidelines for all weddings due to the coronavirus, including a limit on how many guests each couple may bring. Read more about the special guidelines during the pandemic here.

We seek to make the open-air wedding event less formal, in accordance with the surroundings in the public space. Please be prepared for a bit of well-intentioned attention from other couples and guests in the area. Naturally, we will do our very best to make the event a personal and wonderful experience for you.

How to sign up

When your marriage application has been approved, you will receive a link to our booking system. Here, you can choose the open-air wedding and the time of the day that suits you.
Shortly after you have booked your ceremony, you will receive an e-mail with further information about the event.

You can apply four months before your desired wedding day at the earliest.
