Ofelia Plads English
This colourful, open space with lots of fresh air –in the heart of Copenhagen – offers you the possibility to give each other your ‘yes’ in beautiful surroundings close to the water.
The wedding ceremony will take place on the pier ‘Kvæsthusbroen’, close to the Royal Danish Playhouse, with a view to the Amalie Garden on one side and the Opera House on the other.
Saturday the 29th of July 2017, from 10.00am.
The Ofelia Plads is a public place and therefore you may expect some attention from the other guests.
In case the weather does not seem suitable for open air ceremonies, the event will be moved to one of the beautiful rooms at Copenhagen City Hall. You will be contacted by us via e-mail in case the event is moved on the day before your wedding.

History of the Place
Ofelia Plads, formerly Ofelia Beach, is part of the Royal Danish Theatre and is situated right by the Royal Danish Playhouse and with a view on the Opera House on the other side of the water. The space, which covers almost 13,000 square metres, changed dramatically in 2010 when the Copenhagen City Council approved the project that is now a space offering cafés and a vast array of cultural activities for adults and children alike.
